Resilience: Matt is a journalist and radio host these days but there was a time not long ago when he couldn’t get any type of job. Matt was famously turned down for over 2000 job applications. He was unemployed, homeless and he drove a old ford with over 400,000kms. But he knew what he was to do, and that was to talk to people. These days he has chatted to some of the most interesting and influential people in the country and beyond.
Overcoming Obstacles: When Matt started on his journey to become a journalist and radio announcer he was unemployed and homeless. His very first interview for his popular podcast, ‘Coffee Chats with Matt Collins’ was recorded outside a public toilet block so he could access the nearby library’s wifi. He found a way to reach his goal. It wasn’t always clear and it was never easy but he préserverez regardless of the many obstacles that were put up in front of him.
Throughout his presentation Matt will raise awareness of his charity of choice Daniel Morcombe Foundation and donate at least 10% of his speaking fee to Daniel Morcombe Foundation https://www.danielmorcombe.com.au/
